Bhavanisagar dam is near to Sathyamangalam. It will take around one hour from the place Annur.
This is one of the largest water reservoir which helps the lifeline of Coimbatore, Sathy, Erode.
We can go visit the park and down areas all days, but if we want to view the beauty standing on top of the dam, then it is yearly once.
On the day of Aadi 18 every year, people are allowed to visit the dam on the top and no vechicles are allowed. Get the entry ticket and walk nearly 1.5 km to get the fantastic view of bhavanisagar dam. This is also called as lower bhavani. The above picture also captures the raining moments.
